The outside area has cornhole and their inside seating area has a very cool area for throwing darts. I love to play games while hanging out at a brewery, and RBC provides a solid offering. We sat inside and immediately dove into pitchers of what I would consider their best beer- Hell Yes Ma'am. A few tasting notes on that below, but suffice it to say this beer is inspiring for us East Coast brewers looking for a good big beer. Just look at the empty pitcher!
The walls are well decorated with fun Raleigh themed paintings. It's nice environment for us NC State fans with all the RED!
Oh and just in case there was any doubt they are State supporters, our crew added some custom artwork to the chalkboard walls. These run all the way around the establishment and they have chalk for anyone to use.
I snuck around to the back to take a peek at the brewery itself. I do wish there was a more prominent view of all their gorgeous stainless steel, but that's a fairly small complaint. The beer is excellent, the atmosphere is inviting, and they are dog friendly. They might even be Wolf friendly if your wolf is friendly. Check these guys out if you haven't already!
The Beer
Hell Yes Ma'am Golden Belgian Strong - Spicy, light bodied, very refreshing. Easy to drink doesn't do this justice because their is a ton of complexity from the Belgian yeast. A true danger to anyone with a low alcohol tolerance
Hidden Pipe Porter - A very robust porter with solid coffee notes. The chocolate notes are also present but if you need that full bodied dark beer itch to be scratched - Hidden Pipe delivers.
